Zealand Pipe Band is thrilled to invite you to a great day filled with piping and drumming in the heart of Zealand.
The competition will include solo piping, solo drumming, mini bands and drum fanfares, and a social event to round off the day.

We are proud to present a strong line up of judges eager to hear you play:

Piping: Kyle Rothschild
Kyle is a long-time member of the grade 1 St. Laurence O’Toole Pipe Band (IRE).
His piping career began in California, but he later moved, first to Scotland, then Ireland, where he played with, amongst others, the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band. Kyle is a keen solo piping competitor as well and has won numerous prices.

Drumming: L/D Anders Jensen
Anders is the leading drummer of the Cross Border Pipe Band. He began his drumming career in Danish bands playing up to grade 2, before joining Robert Malcolm Memorial Pipe Band (CA) and then grade 1 Triumph Street Pipe Band (CA). Anders is a highly skilled musician as well as teacher and is the founder of www.pbdrumming.com, where drum scores and articles are available for download.

How to get there?
The competition takes place at Campus Zealand (Sjællands Erhversakademi) in Roskilde . The venue is easily accessible by public transportation (10 min. from Roskilde train station) or by car (5 min from the freeway, free parking available).

Where to stay?
Accommodation is available on location or at the nearby Scandic Hotel (200 meters).
