Craig Waugh

Originally from Canada, Craig has played bagpipes across North America and around the world since age 10. 
 
He has played at the highest level of individual competition as well as in a number of Grade One pipe bands including Victoria Park Pipe Band, Edmonton/Alberta Caledonia, Toronto and District and the Peel Regional Police Pipe Band. 
 

He has played numerous times with these bands at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. 
With Toronto and District/Peel Police, they were named Champions Supreme as well as North American Champions for two successive years.  He most recently played with St. Thomas Alumni in Texas. 

He has had the opportunity to share the stage on different occasions with Sir Paul McCartney, The Chieftains and Rod Stewart. 
He was one of the founders and Pipe Major of the Indiana Caledonia Pipe Band, whose mission was to improve the quality of piping and drumming in a family friendly way in the greater Indianapolis, USA area where he taught his three kids pipes as well as many adults to improve their piping skills. 

He currently resides in sunny Mainz with his lovely wife, two friendly dogs, and enjoys playing with Moguntia Pipes and Drums as well as the Clan Pipers Frankfurt.
